Vivo’s Y30 triggered a lot of excitement when released in the Indian market back in July 2020. The handset maker offers just one variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Vivo y30 box contains a charger, back cover, and a SIM ejector clip, which is often used as a toothpick. There’s a 3.5mm jack and USB C port.
Superb for clicking pictures
Y30 has a 6.47-inch HD+ screen (720×1560 pixels). The device comes loaded with Android 10 (Funtouch OS 10.5) but is set to receive Android 11 updates during the coming months.
The phone’s 5000mAh non-removable battery is superb for individuals who plan to use the device to access office apps, play games, or stream videos. If you need a quick charge, you should consider investing in an 18W fast charger. The one that comes packed in the box is 10W.
Y30 is powered by a MediaTek Helio P35 octa-core processor. The front camera is 8MP, just about OK for a selfie. The rear camera (quad-camera) set consists of four cameras (13MP+8MP+2MP+2MP). Most reviews suggest both cameras can help in clicking good quality pictures.
The screen to body ratio is 90.7 percent. Its face recognition and fingerprint sensor features work fine. However, the color blue is prone to fingerprints. It’s handy, not too big. And yes, the device supports Bluetooth, GPS, Volte, and Wi-Fi calling. As the device marker suggests, Vivo Y30 is perfect for watching videos, browsing the web, and viewing pictures. Call of Duty fans who have used this device for playing the game have pointed out the phone may not be the best gaming handset.
